When performing 20-year sprinkler head testing, S&S Fire Protection will:
- Remove sprinkler heads as needed for detailed inspection and testing.
- Conduct mechanical, functional, and corrosion assessments in accordance with manufacturer and NFPA 25/13 requirements.
- Identify and replace sprinkler heads that fail testing or show signs of degradation.
- Record the condition, serial numbers, and locations of all tested sprinkler heads.
- Provide reports to building owners, managers, and authorities having jurisdiction (AHJ) documenting compliance and system readiness.
- Recommend maintenance or full replacement if the system shows widespread wear or aging.
