When performing preventive maintenance, S&S Fire Protection will:
- Inspect fire sprinkler, alarm, suppression, and detection systems on a regular schedule.
- Test system components, including valves, pumps, detectors, alarms, and control panels.
- Clean, lubricate, and adjust equipment as needed to maintain proper operation.
- Identify wear, corrosion, or damage and recommend repairs or replacements.
- Document all maintenance activities and findings for building owners and authorities having jurisdiction (AHJ).
- Coordinate with building management to minimize disruption during maintenance activities.
